Introductory Science:

This introductory science curriculum is geared for the average kindergartner. It is separated into four different subjects of science: Earth Science & Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. There are 35 lessons in this text that should be completed in one year. It is set up to accomplish one lesson per week for the 36-week school year. One lesson was omitted so that there would be flexibility to take a field trip. Most lessons take approximately 30 minutes total. Each lesson consists of two parts- one part information and one part activity or experiment. The lessons can be broken down into two 15 minute lessons or one 30 minute lesson per week; your choice.

The complete introductory science curriculum includes a student text and a science materials kit. This curriculum also offers a replacement materials kit and loose-leaf activity pages. The replacement materials kit is used to replace any consumable items that were already used by a previous student from the introductory science materials kit. The loose-leaf activity pages are copies of all the activity pages in the introductory science student text. These can be used for an additional student or to replace already used ones from the student text.
