This intermediate science curriculum is separated into four different subjects of science: Earth Science & Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. There are 108 lessons, in which thirty-six lessons should be completed each year. It is suggested that one lesson be accomplished each week for a 36-week school year. Most lessons take approximately 60 minutes total. The lessons consist of two parts - one part information and one part an activity or experiment. The lessons can be broken down into two 30 minute lessons or one 60 minute lesson per week. Some experiments, however will take much longer. Look at the experiments before you plan.
The complete intermediate science curriculum includes a student text, a tests and answer key, and a science materials kit. This curriculum also offers a replacement materials kit and loose-leaf activity pages. The replacement materials kit is used to replace any consumable items that were already used by a previous student from the intermediate science materials kit. The loose-leaf activity pages are copies of all the activity pages in the beginning science student text. These can be used for an additional student ao to replace already used ones form the student text. (Note: Science goggles are needed for this curriculum but are not provided in the kit. We offer these seperately- see the store.)
